This is the best canned tuna available. It's chunky and contains very little water. It's the only tuna I buy now. Make sure to get the "no drain" variety of chunk white tuna. It's far better than the other varieties.

We usually buy these when Amazon/Amazon Fresh has a sale, which is often. We put Japanese ginger and sweet relish in our recipe because we love a sweeter flavor. We also drain the juice and rinse lightly in water. The quality is excellent and as described, these are chunks. Easy to open. Healthier option.

Like that the tuna was caught in the wild. White albacore, some cans more solid than orders, but all very good quality. Unlike inconsistentlower quality Bumblebee tuna and at times Starkist in my opinion.

Got 12 cans of the 12 oz size and it came in a shrink wrapped flat with no dents and for a fabulous price. Very happy with this order.

So the can has a lot of tuna. I made a huge bowl of tuna salad. My granddaughter loves my tuna salad. So I made sure she had a container of tuna salad to take home with her.I had seasoned some and topped it over my Lo Mein Noodles. I was surprised there was just enough water so the tuna wasn't drowned. The texture was good wholesome, clean and tasted fresh. If it didn't taste, good my granddaughter would not hesitate to tell me,"That tuna did not taste good!"So the next time you have some folks to feed grab a can or two. They created canned tuna for the US in WWI and converted much of their fleet for military transport in WWII.What I know is that it has been a reliable brand handed down from my parents and I assume theirs and I can't recall ever opening a bad can.As a healthier choice, I will only eat tuna packed in water and much prefer the White Albacore option.The multi pack is a great idea that I appreciate.

I am not sure what to think here. Many of the reviews are for the "Chunk Light" not the "Solid White Albacore" which is what I bought- and what I got. That is the only option available, so I don't know why the verified purchases for light tuna are appearing here. Additionally, some reviews are for the smaller pop top type cans that come in a multi-pack. I quit buying chunk light tuna several years ago because of the decline to mushy texture and stronger fishy smell. Full disclosure, I was buying Starkist, not Chicken of the Sea, but the Starkist chunk light tuna I grew up on had evolved into a product more like cat food than I cared to eat. My only reason for trying this brand was BECAUSE it is labeled as Solid White Albacore, the price was better than my grocery store, and I had some room in my pantry box so this product popped up as a recommendation. Had I come to the page and looked at the reviews or the photographs, I would absolutely positively passed on buying it. The rusty cans shown at the top of the product page are disgusting. It is not likely I will purchase this again even though the cans I received were fine and I couldn't really tell any difference from my usual brand.
