How to Use
Place one tab in the dishwasher detergent dispenser — do not unwrap. Close the dispenser and run your dishwasher as normal. No pre-rinsing required — the Ultimate Quantum formula handles dried-on and burnt-on food. For best results, ensure the dispenser is dry before placing the tab. Do not handle with wet hands — tabs may become slippery and begin to dissolve. Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and out of reach of children.
About Finish Powerball
Finish is the world's #1 recommended dishwasher detergent brand, trusted by households in over 40 countries. The Powerball technology — the distinctive red ball at the center of each tab — was pioneered by Finish and has become the brand's signature innovation. The Ultimate Quantum line represents the pinnacle of Finish's cleaning technology, combining a multi-chamber tab design with the Powerball core to deliver pre-soak, wash, and rinse action in a single tab. The New & Improved formula delivers measurably better grease fighting and scrubbing performance than the previous generation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pre-rinse dishes before using Finish Ultimate Quantum?
No. Finish Ultimate Quantum is specifically formulated to handle dried-on and burnt-on food residue without pre-rinsing. Simply scrape off large food pieces and load the dishwasher. Pre-rinsing can actually reduce cleaning performance by removing the food particles that activate the enzymes in the tab.
Is Finish Ultimate Quantum safe for all dishwashers?
Yes. Finish Ultimate Quantum tabs are compatible with all standard dishwashers. Place the tab in the main detergent dispenser compartment. Do not place the tab directly in the bottom of the dishwasher, as this may cause it to dissolve before the wash cycle begins.
How does the Powerball work?
The red Powerball at the center of each Finish tab is a concentrated sphere of cleaning boosters. As the dishwasher fills with water, the Powerball activates and releases its contents throughout the wash cycle, providing an extra burst of cleaning power that complements the main tab formula. This dual-action approach is what gives Finish Powerball tabs their superior cleaning performance.
