Great taste, great value

I was at first convinced by the space-saving package that I'd received an 8-pack, but there were indeed twelve tins of mackerel. I've purchased this brand at the supermarket, and it's one of the best for the money.

Well, we’re hurting the fish population, but it taste good

In the old days, the millionaires used to hold things for the holocaust. One of the many projects stated with hide is sardines and macro crackers, things that would sustain a long time they’re fishing nets. They must have magnets on it for the best fish because that’s the only thing I can figure their magnetism to catch in the best fishnet or however they do it. Just keep on doing it. We’re enjoying it. I hope this is enough fish.

Better taste of mackerel than sardines . I love them

I’m not a fan of sardines as a value, but these mackerels filets taste more like tuna and I get all the benefits of a can of sardines. Great product

Great

Great product. Best tasting of Season's mackerel. Grilled. There is another variation that has 460mg of sodium which is extremely high. This one has 230mg which is healthier. Fyi

A nice, not too fishy healthy snack!

I like to pick up some cans of the grilled mackerel when I can find them. Not too fishy or squishy, but a nice light taste. Excellent when you want a snack that isn't junk food!

taste great- nutrient dense

In my journey of losing 80 pounds, i needed a nutrient dense food that created satiety without triggering overeating. This product met the criteria as well as tasting good. Frankly, a lot of other mackerel seemed rubbery or tasted or smelled bad. When this product disappeared from the local grocers shelf, i ran online to stock up.

Very tasty

This grilled mackerel is really good. I like that it's boneless , skinless , and doesn't have a strong fishy smell or taste. It's a little bland , nothing that a hit of Tony Chacheres couldn't fix. My Rottweilers also enjoyed their share very much. I'm definitely getting more of this.

Delicious

I’ve never had Mackerel before and was hesitant to try it. I’m trying the Mediterranean diet and I had this today and it’s wonderful! What waters do they come from? What is the mercury level?

Tasty item

I first purchased this at the local grocery store. It has a nice taste. Amazon did offer the 12 pack size cheaper than buying 12 at the grocery store, which made it worth adding to my subscription.

leaking lid

This is a succulent product but my last order had a loose lid, & was leaking oil. Of course , these products are non refundable , so the loss is mine , but I just wanted to notify the seller . We were not comfortable to eat the fish , not knowing if it were contaminated ,so our dog & cats thoroughly enjoyed it!

Healthy

It says right on the package, it is Scomber Colias (not King Mackerel), Wild Caught from the Atlantic Ocean. Not sure why another reviewer gave it one star citing that they didn't know if what was in the package was King mackerel when it is clearly stated that it is not. This is a pretty tasty and healthy snack, I would rate it 5 stars even if I didn't feel compelled to help restore justice to the reviews. It is mostly boneless, but they don't manage to get everything, so occasionally there are some bones that you can eat like the ones you find in sardines. Cats & dogs will go crazy for this stuff if you're willing to share, or even just the mackerel-infused oil if you hog all the fish to yourself.
