How to Use
Adults and children 12 years and over: DayQuil Severe — take 30 mL (2 tbsp) every 4 hours; do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. NyQuil Severe — take 30 mL (2 tbsp) at bedtime; may repeat if awakened and 4 hours have passed since last dose; do not exceed 2 doses in 24 hours. Children under 12 years: Do not use. Do not take DayQuil and NyQuil at the same time or too close together — both contain acetaminophen, and combining them risks exceeding the safe maximum of 4,000 mg per 24 hours, causing serious liver damage. Liver warning: This product contains acetaminophen. Severe liver damage may occur if you take more than 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in 24 hours, with other drugs containing acetaminophen, or 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily. Allergy alert: Acetaminophen may cause severe skin or severe allergic reactions. Do not use with any other drug containing acetaminophen. Do not use NyQuil if you are taking a sedative or tranquilizer without first asking a doctor. Ask a doctor before use if you have liver disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, glaucoma, cough with excessive phlegm, breathing problems such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, difficulty urinating, or a sodium-restricted diet. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I take DayQuil and NyQuil at the same time or close together?
No. Do not take DayQuil and NyQuil at the same time. Both contain acetaminophen. Taking them together or too close together can cause you to exceed the maximum safe dose of acetaminophen (4,000 mg in 24 hours), which can cause serious liver damage. Follow the dosing schedule on each label carefully and allow adequate time between doses.
Why does this bundle include 2 NyQuil and only 1 DayQuil?
During a typical cold or flu, you need more nighttime doses than daytime doses. NyQuil is taken at bedtime and may be taken again if symptoms return during the night. DayQuil is taken during waking hours. The 2:1 ratio reflects this typical usage pattern and ensures you have enough nighttime coverage for a full recovery.
Is DayQuil Severe alcohol free?
Yes. DayQuil Severe is Alcohol Free and Non-Drowsy. NyQuil Severe — check the individual bottle label for current formulation details, as formulations can vary.
