Great taste for the price. This coffee is robust and smooth yet without any bitter or “burnt” taste. Cafe Bustelo is much more enjoyable in taste than ”regular” ground coffee for our homemade Espressos and Americanos. The can is cute as a button, “classic“ metal coffee can. It has a standard plastic coffee can lid over a foil seal. We will definitely purchase this coffee again but in the larger, 36 ounce size canister to refill our adorable little metal can!

"En Mi Case Toman Bustelo" was a radio jingle I grew up with in the South Bronx and it was the case that if you were any kind of latino you woke up to the aroma of Bustelo coffee brewing. For me an added plus was that on my ride to school in Manhattan on the IRT #6 line when we crossed the Bronx River just before we went underground we were invariably hit with the aroma fro their packing factory downstream. I associate this aroma with family and growing up Nuyorican and have always preferred Bustelo to any other coffee although I drink many brands and types.But none have the same cachet of memory attached to the experience.

I use this coffee in my little stovetop espresso maker. I’ve tried several other brands, but this is hands-down THE best coffee. I’ve read in other reviews that it’s cheaper in the supermarket. I live in the middle of nowhere, but will check it out next time I make the 1-1/2 hour drive into town. Until then, will pay the higher price from Amazon. It’s absolutely worth it.
