As a former Exec. Chef (just retired from a 50 years career), I have tried many oils. The Chosen Foods 100% Avocado oil stands among the best I’ve used for deep-frying, shallow pan frying, roasting or grilling. This oil heat smoking point is very high compared to others. Although I use Olive Oil a lot but never for pan frying (dressing salads, finishing a dish, or drizzle over a tomato/avocado salad). I also use the Chosen 100% Avocado Oil Spray can on my grill, it works very well to oil the iron grids, I even spray-coat and bake all my cast iron pans to keep them rust free! I tried avocado oil for the first time and I love it. I used to use olive oil when making rice in the rice cooker but it always came out sticky. What a difference with avocado oil. The rice wasn't sticky and it was actually fluffier. Also, it doesn't begin to burn when using it in the frying pan.

As someone that is concerned with what goes into my body and what I feed my family, this is a great cooking oil! It is high heat point, which makes it durable for cooking! It is pure avocado oil and not mixed with anything else so there’s no harsh flavors or aromas that you would get with olive oil. It is smooth and thin enough to use as a spray for easy use, as well as can be poured straight out the bottle. I love using it as a spray for cooking and cosmetics as a carrier oil. It is very moisturizing on the skin and almost colorless so it won’t ruin clothes. Definitely a multi use oil with great qualities! Definitely recommend making the switch for health and usability!
