How to Use
For drip coffee maker, use approximately 60g per liter of water (about 1 tablespoon per 6 oz) and brew at 90–96°C (194–205°F) for optimal extraction. For pour over, use 60g per liter — bloom with a small amount of hot water for 30 seconds, then pour slowly in circular motions for even extraction. For French press, use 60g per liter, steep for 4 minutes, then press slowly — the cocoa and dried fruit notes come through beautifully in full-immersion brewing. For espresso, use 7–9g per shot, tamp firmly, and extract at 9 bar for 25–30 seconds. The bold roast intensity makes illy Intenso particularly well-suited to drip and French press formats, where the full cocoa character can fully develop.
