How to Use

For espresso, use 7 to 9 g per shot, tamp firmly, and extract at 9 bar for 25 to 30 seconds for a crema-topped decaf shot. For moka pot, fill the basket level without tamping, brew over medium heat, and remove from heat as the coffee begins to gurgle. For drip or filter, use 60 g per liter of water at 194 to 205°F (90 to 96°C). Store in a cool, dry place and use within 2 to 4 weeks of opening; do not refrigerate or freeze.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kimbo Decaf completely caffeine-free?
No. Decaffeination removes most of the caffeine, but Kimbo Decaf retains a very small amount of residual caffeine, typically less than 0.1 percent. It is suitable for most people limiting their caffeine intake, but it is not labeled or intended as a 100 percent caffeine-free product. Read the printed label for the exact specifications.

How should I store Kimbo Decaf ground coffee?
Keep the tin sealed and stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not refrigerate or freeze the coffee, since moving it between temperatures can introduce condensation into the tin. Reseal the lid tightly after each use and use the coffee within 2 to 4 weeks of opening for the best flavor.

What is the difference between Kimbo Decaf and Kimbo Antica Tradizione ground coffee?
Kimbo Decaf is a decaffeinated medium roast at intensity 9 out of 13, made to deliver the same full-bodied, rich flavor as Kimbo's caffeinated coffees. Antica Tradizione is a fully caffeinated medium-dark roast, also at intensity 9 out of 13. The roasting intensity is similar; the main difference is caffeine content.

Is Kimbo Decaf ground coffee imported from Italy?
Yes. This coffee is roasted, blended, and packed in Naples, Italy, using Kimbo's Neapolitan Master Roasting technique, then imported for sale in the US and Canada. Real Prime Deals ships every order from our New Jersey warehouse, so customers receive the same decaf blend sold across Italy.
