It's the wrong item sent and it was damaged
I was looking all over for reviews before buying a color. Revlon Colorsilk got the best reviews for a great price of $3.00 a box (alittle bit more if you buy on Amazon). I used Revlon Colorsilk 61 Dark Blonde on my hair. Before my hair was growing my color was dishwater blonde with about 1/4 of gray mixed in and the ends were faded highlights. I did the roots and crown first. Then I added the rest of the bottle to my hair. I left it on a full 30min. The color was almost exactly like the box. The conditioner pack was only enough to use after the color, but my hair felt soft. I didn't really style it for this picture. I just blew it dry so you could see the color. I bought it at Walmart for $3.00. If I was busy or had credit on Amazon I would buy it online for sure. I posted pics to help people see the actual color when it was finished. It DID NOT have a strong smell. I think with a nice hair cut this color would look even better. I normally spend up to $130 at the stylist doing a base color and then highlights. Have really wanted to try finding a box color I like and then just paying the $35 for a nice hair cut. I hope this review helps give some people courage to do their own hair.
This product is economical. It works well at a reasonable cost. I like the Dark Blonde color. It doesn't damage my hair because there is no ammonia in it.

I have Asian black hair but have been coloring it medium brown for years. I usually get highlights to blend my white roots. Recently my white roots became more noticeable so I thought I'd try coloring my hair dark blonde to see if it would make my white hairs blonde but keep the brown as is. It worked! It lightened everything just a little bit but my white hairs and highlighted areas are now blonde and the rest stayed brown. I used Revlon Dark Blonde 61 because it was inexpensive and the reviews were mostly good. I'm glad I tried it.
