You can't call something Screamin Hot and have a bunch of flames on the bag and then the spice is... paprika. There was basically zero heat, so it's the only reason I checked the bag's ingredients to see what was even supposed to be creating any spice.Doing themselves a disservice with this name and packaging.. doubt I'll trust their other products.

These Terra Chips taste great with the spices, but they're promoted as "Screamin' Hot" as the differential for this variety and they're just not. My two cents.

These are super delicious - zesty, savory, a little heat - great balance of flavor. I love that they are a combination of all the root chips so you have some there are firmer and crunchier with a good snap, others that are more light and crispy. I do wish they lived up to their name more - they have a little bit of a bite but are by no means spicy or screamin hot. Still very flavorful and tasty though.

These things are not even mildy hot!

I loved the amount of spice in the first two, but it's almost as if someone made a mistake and didn't put enough spicy powder in the last two bags I purchased. If that's how they're going to be, I won't be repurchasing.

My son likes spicy chips and flaming cheetos, so we picked up these that are labeled "Screaming hot" with images of flames coming out of the chips. It felt like this was going to be a worthwhile chip by the name and image. We thought we received a bag that forgot to add any seasoning. They were incredibly bland outside of the slight sweetness of the sweet potato. Yes, they were that bad. The reason I would buy these again is to give someone who thinks they can't handle spiciness a confidence boost.If you consider a bowl of plain oatmeal to be insanely spicy, then you can consider the name "screamin' hot vegetable chips" as subjectively accurate.

Very good flav but whole foods anything is expensive.

Very yummy, I love all the different textures in these chips, and flavor is also very good, HOWEVER, they’re definitely not even a little spicy.

Tried these and ended up giving them out to a large group of people as a joke. Everyone got a great laugh out of how bad and not even remotely spicy these are.

The first taste was NOT a good one - stale!

This Screaming Hot was not spicy at all! Overall the chips is still good but I rather have the original one better!

It's embarrassing to label these chips as spicy. Don't get me wrong, the chips are delicious and healthy BUT they are NOWHERE near spicy or hot. They had no flavor. Should just label these as veggie chips and leave them at that.

Tasted like the regular terra chips with a little hot power baked in. Good but not really spicy, at least for me. If you like really hot stuff pass on this. If you like mild spice this is for you.

Not spicy at all. My 1 year old son can eat it.

These chips are not good, there is a milk base , check he ingredients , you can taste it.The regular vegetable chip and the sweet potato chip are great!

This has to be a sick joke. I’m someone with a high tolerance for heat, but also someone who understands to manage my expectations of “hot” and “spicy” in mainstream/non-ethnic products. But the nerve of Terra to label this hot, spicy, add flames to the packaging, much less screaming???? There literally isn’t even SALT in these chips. I’m quite furious at the audacity. There is ABSOLUTELY NO HEAT and NO FLAVOR in these chips. It’s so awful that this deserves a class action lawsuit for this level of deceit and deception. Terra, you’ll be hearing from my lawyers (jk about this last sentence)

Not hot or spicy at all in any way. Taste exactly like the original terra chips.

I don't think I could distinguish these from regular Terra chips in a blind taste test. Not even the barest hint of heat. I regret buying them.

My SIL got these from Whole Foods today to try. Not spicy at all and it was not flavored well either. Actually most of the “chips” were in little itty bitty pieces.

I'm not someone with an incredible tolerance for heat, so this is not someone who eats ghost peppers complaining about how hot some spicy chips are. I'm a regular person who likes my hot sauce just slightly hotter than you get in typical grocery store brands, but I still fall firmly on the milder side of things compared to "real" hot sauce lovers. I explain all that so when I say these chips had absolutely zero trace of spice you realize this is not some hot sauce fanatic talking trash. I mean this literally, I couldn't detect ANY spiciness to these chips. On top of that, there also didn't seem to be any seasoning at all on the chips, not even salt. This was a bag of plain unsalted vegetable chips.When I checked the ingredients to see if I could find what was SUPPOSED to make these spicy, I did find one ingredient I didn't expect to find, and kind of pissed me off... milk. Why the hell is there MILK on vegetable chips? I had assumed the product would be vegan being fried vegetable chips after all. Lesson learned.

Delicious and packed with flavor. I love the Terra chips in general and these hot ones give just the right kick.

I wouldn’t even say screaming hot more like a Yelp. But the product was good just not screaming
